When her sister-in-law Sreymao invited 29-year-old Kuntia to join the byTavi program in January 2012, she didn’t hesitate. Not married, Kuntia’s weekly income helps support her parents and her two brothers and sisters, who all share the same home. She appreciates the close location of the byTavi workshop to their home. Her favorite item to make is the quilted purse. Kuntia acknowledges that life is now easier since she began working in the byTavi program.
